Overview
Agriscience and Environmental Systems students learn about biology, application of new technologies for production systems and value-added commodities, water quality, resource management, marketing, and business management.
The Agriscience and Environmental Systems program is designed in collaboration with the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA; UGA faculty offer the third and fourth years of the major on the Tifton campus. This special partnership allows transfer students in the program to take required lower division courses at ABAC. However, the program welcomes students who qualify for UGA transfer from other institutions. A student may transfer into the program from any other institution.
Graduates are primed for careers that play major roles in the economic development of rural areas in the southeastern United States.
